For sale by owner. I have a 1984 MCI Greyhound bus for sale. It is registered as a motorhome in WA State. I bought it a few years ago as a bus and it has been partially converted. I have lots of pictures of all the work done so you can see how things were done. We started by gutting it down to the frame, removing all the old fiberglass insulation. no rust was found during the gutting process frame is in great condition. The floor was removed and replaced with inch and a quarter plywood subfloor. 8 of the 14 windows have been removed, extra support welded in and, aluminum sheets sealed with Sikaflex and riveted in place. 3 of the remaining 6 windows have been replaced with new double pain 50/50 split sliding windows from motion windows in Vancouver, WA.

The entire bus has been insulated and sealed with spray foam done by professionals. the walls are covered in fir tongue and groove boards, it has 50 amp electrical throughout, PEX pluming with 6 gal electric hot water heater, toilet, bathroom sink, huge kitchen sink and 6 foot butcherblock with custom kitchen cabinets. 1 air conditioner installed, with welded in supports for a second, have to cut the hole for it. There is a framed in bathroom. has a residential size propane stove and and refrigerator.

Mechanically the bus is in good shape. the bus is air ride and floats down the road. The old 8V92 two stroke was replaced by a rebuilt 4 cylinder Detroit series 50 4 stroke. It is much cleaner, quieter, and gets about 10 miles to the gal. Has about 200 gal fuel capacity thanks to extended range package with aux fuel tank in the first luggage bay. It has plenty of power and pulls hills like a dream. The speedometer is not reading quite right, it shows lower than actual speed. not sure about the miles on it because of this. These busses were build for 3 million miles of commercial service, but the odometer only has 6 digits so I have no way of knowing the actual mileage. needs new tires all around if you plan on driving it a lot. I lived in it mostly stationary so it has been sitting. I would recommend all regular maintenance be done at this point because has been mostly sitting for 6 years, moved about once every two years, but several of those trips were over Snoqualmie pass. I've never had a breakdown and it pulled the hills fantastically at almost the speed limit. It has the original air-condition system but I've never used it. Even after sitting for a year at a time the bus has always stared easily on the first try. It has good breaks all around and I have a bunch of extra break pads that came with it. I also have a bunch of extra plumbing/electrical parts for the interior. The exterior is in ok shape could use a paint job but not urgently as its all aluminum fiberglass and stainless, has some cosmetic dings and the rear bumper cover is cracked.

I have looked around at other posts for comparison, and most of the buses I found were not in this good of shape. And all had the old dirty two strokes in them. This bus has had a lot of the hard work done and is pretty much a blank slate for some one to make a wonderful tiny home on wheels. Or use as is, I have been living in it for the last 6 years. Would make a great hunting cabin as the kitchen right now is huge with a massive and deep single stainless steel sink, and six foot butcher block.

Feel free to call with any questions. I am working on cleaning it up after moving out and will post new pictures soon, it needs pressure washed and I'm still getting the last of my stuff out. But I have some older photos I will post now, though nothing recent of the interior, will take some soon. The current interior photos I've posted show a bit of the work done on the inside at the beginning. I'd like it to go quick so I don't have to pay for storage, so all reasonable offers will be considered.

Update: I did find one recent pic of the kitchen.
