While you may not immediately know the color of the bridesmaid dresses, try and do your due diligence in order to find out what they plan to wear (and avoid wearing the same hue).

It depends on the bridesmaid dress, but it is common to do so. If the top is stiff and supportive, you might not have to. If there are no straps on the dress, you could wear a strapless bra. If there is no back on the dress, you could wear a backless bra.

We always suggest going with the larger size and having it fitted to your body. There is only so much that can be done when letting out a dress and doing so will most likely end up costing you more money. Trust the bridal shop and go with their size suggestion and consider alterations as a must.

How far off the floor should a bridesmaid dress be? ›
