So, we have talked about the magic soup recipe BUT what about the grilled cheese hearts that are served with it?

Well, what we did is, when the soup maker only had five minutes left, we started the air fryer grilled cheese and followed our usual air fryer recipe. Then once the grilled cheese was made, we used a heart cutter to make some hearts and then put them into the soup, creating a classic tomato soup and grilled cheese combo.

Notes

Leftovers. We love to make our own mashed potato cubes. What we do is freeze leftover mash in ice cube trays and then use it in the soup maker to thicken soups. It’s the equivalent of 2 tablespoons of mash. Or if making soup you can add 1 medium potato.

Stock. We also freeze our stock. You can do the same or you can mix an OXO cube with some water.
